May 1st
Loyalty Day is held at 12:00 Noon, in Wilbraham Park as a day of patriotism. Enacted in 1958 by President Eisenhower through an act of Congress, Loyalty Day celebrates the American people and their patriotic courage. This event is organized annually by the Peterson Little Post #386 of the Veterans of Foreign War.
 
May 11th
Saturday, May 11th  9:00am - 2:00pm.  We will offer recycling at it's finest with the WCM Borough Wide Yard Sale. The sale will be advertised in local papers.  Set up in front of your home.   Sell your stuff, come rain or come shine!.

May 15th
Wednesday, May 15th  Borough wide BULK Trash pickup Includes: Furniture, mattresses, boards, tied tree limbs and pieces of wood, not more than 5 feet in length, not more than 50 pounds. NOT Included: Tree stumps, cast iron, metal pipes, demolition/construction material, cars or car parts, TV sets, computers, white items (refrigerators, sinks, etc.). June 1st (Raindate June 2nd)
Sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association, the Strawberry Festival has become an eagerly anticipated event each spring. Strawberries abound in both edible and non edible form. Festivities begin at 9:00 AM and continue until 5:00PM in Wilbraham Park. The rain date is June 2nd. Organizer Sharon Flanagan can be reached at (609) 886-0412.
 
 
June 15th (Raindate June 16th)
The Greater Cape May Historical Society invites you to help preserve a piece of history and enjoy a beautiful day in the Borough of West Cape May at Wilbraham Park from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Tourists and locals alike will find it fun looking (and buying) the many antiques and wares offered. The Colonial House Restoration fund will benefit from the proceeds. June 25th - August 27th (Tuesdays Only)
West Cape May Farm Market at the "BACKYARD" Park
By popular demand, the market will once again run a full ten weeks, beginning June 25– August 27, 2019, each Tuesday between 3:00pm and 7:30pm. The market is located at the West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park, 732 Broadway.  We look forward to another bountiful season!
 
Rain or shine, the Market will be open! The Market features not only fresh produce and herbs, but, among others, purveyors of antiques; live art demonstrations; fresh coffee; barbecue, seafood and kettle corn. Also in the lineup are children''s activities!
 
Come for the produce...linger for the wonderful sense of community as the sun begins to dip. Grab a lite dinner from one of our vendors, share some time with family and friends and relax listening to a variety of local musical talent between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. This wonderful community event aims to bring in more artists and unusual vendors, as well as increase the involvement of young people in the event each year.
 
2019 Entertainment Schedule
 
Beginning with the Tuesday, June 26th Farmer’s Market opening, the Borough will present 10 weeks of music entertainment. Come and have dinner and enjoy music presented Tuesday evenings thru August 27th with family, friends and neighbors. Call 609 884-1005 extension 107 for information.
 
The Farm Market Committee of Volunteers recommends walking, riding your bike or car pooling as parking is limited!

July 6th (Raindate July 7th)
Macedonia Baptist Church returns with "Vendors in the Park" from 9:00am until 5:00pm.  This event features a variety of crafts, antiques, and edible delicacies.  Proceeds help to support the church building fund. Contact Todd Fayer at (609) 412-5376 for information.
 
July 20th (Raindate July 21st)
The WCM Elementary School PTA "Art & Heritage Festival" is the place to be mid-summer. Held in the Wilbraham Park from 10:00am till 5:00pm, this event will be featuring local artists and fine crafters with food samplings and music! Proceeds from this fund raiser help defray cultural and scholastic activities for the students. August 3rd (Raindate August 4th)
Peterson Little Post #386 flea market offers plenty to choose from.  Proceeds from this event fund scholarships for children in local elementary schools.  Recipients are determined through a written essay contest.  Come share the fun in Wilbraham Park from 9:00am until 5:00pm.  Contact Kathleen Bresan (609) 675-6020 for information.
 
August 31st (Raindate September 1st)
The Tomato Festival in Wilbraham Park celebrates the Jersey Fresh Tomato and the end of the summer season! Festivites begin at 9:00am and continue until 5:00pm. Proceeds from this quirky event benefit the WCM Shade Tree Commission in their endeavor to protect and improve the tree canopy of West Cape May. Come on out and share in the spirit of community!

West Cape May celebrates her farming heritage with the Annual Lima Bean Festival in Wilbraham Park! The lowly legume takes center stage beginning at 9:00am and delights locals and visitors alike with her vast array of recipes, crafts and products available.

December 7th (Raindate December 8th)
Always the first Saturday in December, The WCM Community Christmas Parade sets the stage for the areas holiday season. Now in its 54th year, the parade steps off at 5:00pm sharp from the WCM Volunteer Firehouse and marches South on Broadway, winds East on Perry, and onto Carpenter Lane in the City of Cape May. A small army of volunteers assemble an unforgettable hometown memory each year! The Parade reschedules to December 8th in the event of inclement weather.
